"The Small Print"
Even though we have never
had any sort of disputes we thought it best to explain our terms
& conditions so that you are in no doubt of what you will
get.
Cleanliness
The car will be fully
cleaned, polished & valeted prior to leaving our premises and
travelling
to the pick-up address. We will then use any available spare
time, prior to leaving for the
Wedding Venue, to clean of any dirt picked up on route. However,
we cannot guarantee that
the car will be "spotless" especially if the distance
travelled is a long way. Your chauffeur will
be dressed in a white shirt & dark suit with a cap, if
requested.
The Weather
The car is fully enclosed
and 2 white umbrellas are carried. The chauffeur will carry the
umbrella to shield the Bride & Passengers. He can get wet,
you should not.
Insurance
The car carries the correct
"Hire & Reward" insurance and "Public
Liability" insurance
is current.
Breakdowns
Although the car is fully
maintained breakdowns can occur (never so far). In the unlikely
event of this ocurring we will firstly try & get another
Wedding Car to the location. In a real
dire emergency we will offer the local Taxi firm a big incentive
to get a car to us IMMEADIATLY
and then offer you a refund if you are not happy about the
situation or our efforts to resolve it.
The amount refunded would be 100% of the total fee less our
actual costs. Beyond this we will
not be liable for other costs or consequential loss.
Times & Dates
It is the clients'
responsibility to ensure that the times, dates, addresses etc, on
the "Confirmation
Form" are correct and we are notified, in good time, of any
alterations. Although we will use our
best endeavours to meet deadlines, by surveying the route prior
to the event, we cannot be held
responsible for any delays, however caused. No responsibility
will be accepted for restrictions relating to vehicle access at
any location.
The Passengers
The client is responsible
for the conduct of all passengers. Your chauffeur may refuse to
carry
passengers or luggage if he considers the vehicle is overloaded.
The chauffeur may also
terminate the booking if the client or passengers cause excessive
delays, are disorderly or, in
the chauffeurs' judgement, are unfit to travel. No refund will be
offered in these circumstances.
Booking Details
Bookings are not
"confirmed" until the due deposit is received. The Car
will only be reserved for
14 days from first contact unless the deposit is received. The
deposit is Non-refundable. The full outstanding balance must be
received not later than 30 days prior to the event. Cancellations
must
be made, in writing, no later than 30 days prior to the event.
The full outstanding balance is
payable if a cancellation is received within 30 days of the
event.
